ABOUT THE AUTHOR
The author, Robert W. Birch, holds a Ph.D. in Psychology, but is now retired after 40 years of practice with a focus on intimate relationships. The versatility of this author is apparent in the range of his publications, stretching from a clinical manual for professional sex therapists, through four books of humorous limericks, to a 400 page erotic mystery. His writings include numerous articles on a variety of sexual and relationship topics, a number of educational brochures, and a collection of serious poems on loss, bereavement, and recovery from grief. .A collection of his poetry also appears in A Bite Out of the Rainbow: A Mosaic of Erotic Verse.
In Rhubarb Pie, the author once more displays his versatility, his insight into human emotions, and his keen sense of humor. In this book he writes in free verse, in metered rhymes, in the form of classic ballads, and in the format of traditional sonnets. He writes of love, lust, and life.
